Providing opportunities for growth, education, and understanding of the context will help us develop a more competent, democratic, courageous, and compassionate society.
All life on our planet, including humans, depends on biodiversity. Without a wide range of animals, plants and microorganisms, we cannot have the healthy ecosystems we rely on.
We perceive that sustainable development is a continuous and controlled social change that takes place globally, regionally and locally. In order to ensure
a good life for current and future generations, it is our duty to provide them with opportunities.
Roots & Shoots, a global educational program, was founded by Jane Goodall in 1991 with the goal of bringing together youth from preschool to university age to work on environmental, conservation and humanitarian issues. The organization has local chapters in over 140 countries with over 8000 local groups worldwide that involve nearly 150,000 youth. Green Foundation has introduced Roots & Shoots to Slovakia in 2016. Thus, we can help to unlock the vast potential of the youth in Slovakia and support them on their way to improving the world.
