From 2021 to 2024, we are working in international partnership with Jane Goodall Institute (Austria) and Nesehnuti (Czech Republic) on the ERASMUS+ project, bringing new solutions and innovations to young people who want to get involved in the climate. As part of this project, we have extended our Roots & Shoots methodology to universities. The pilot project was implemented at the University of Konstantina Filozofa in Nitra. By preparing a set of research and training activities, we aim to improve the ability of NGOs, youth workers and youth groups to develop their projects that solve environmental problems in urban areas, primarily through climate change mitigation.
The strategic partnership includes the critical aspect of bringing innovation to youth work, with young people who want to address climate change issues in their local areas, using the process to learn the knowledge, means and tools to do so efficiently and effectively.
